Evaluating the lasting, economic effects of the War on Poverty

2024 Conference: Lessons from the 1960s for Inequality

This conference, “Lessons from the 1960s for Inequality,” was organized by Professor Martha Bailey of UCLA’s California Center for Population Research and Steven Durlauf of University of Chicago’s Stone Center for Research on Wealth Inequality and Mobility.

The meeting took place from Friday, January 12th to Saturday, January 13th 2024 at UCLA, and so was timed to be close to the 60-year anniversary of Lyndon B.
